I don't think it's appropriate to close a BUG just because you don't plan to fix it in 'forseeable' time. It's still there, it still affects me and others might just report it again as well.
Maybe make a category "wontfix" or something like that, give it the minimum priority etc.
That way others will find it easier and can look up the discussion and that you don't plan to fix it.

When not adding full support for multi-tags, please make sure you at least don't loose data (especially when editing, but also when reading the tags) by e.g. merging the multiple tags into a single field by joining them with " / ".
I.e. if a file has artist tags "Foo" and "Bar", import it as "Foo / Bar", if it has genres "Jazz" and "Swing", import it as "Jazz / Swing". That is probably the...

The Vorbis standard allows for tags such as artist, genre to have multiple instances. It actually is "encouraged":
