  • Followup: RE: Advanced search for user broken

Thanks for the suggestions but this does not work either… :-( Antoine.

  • Followup: RE: Advanced search for user broken

-both tables "users" look identical (I actually dumped the one that worked to create the one that doesn't) - when trying to login I get the following message: "Login failed! You provided an incorrect email address or password." - creating a new user account works OK, re-generating the password does not… I am really confused, and I don't know whether all my troubles...

  • Followup: RE: Advanced search for user broken

Thank you, here are the results of my investigation: - the differences in the files structure are where you would expect them to be (I copy below the output of the diff command): diff -u -r -B -N -s /Users/antoine/Sites/biblio/initialize/db.inc.php /Users/antoine/Sites/pnrpe/initialize/db.inc.php --- /Users/antoine/Sites/biblio/initialize/db.inc.php 2009-08-26 12:03:38.000000000 +0100...

  • Followup: RE: Advanced search for user broken

I am all the more surprised as I have two Refbase installations on the same server (separate SQL databases) and one has the problem, not the other. Hence I assume that the cookies settings and PHP settings (all identical) have nothing to do with it. The defect installation also seems not to recognize the users anymore (login ID and passwords rejected), although they are still in the users...

  • Advanced search for user broken

Dear all, I have bumped into something interesting when trying to search for the records owned by a specific user (using the filed Location or Call number). The Advanced search produces this SQL query: SELECT author, title, year, publication, volume, pages, location, thesis, orig_record, serial, file, url, doi, isbn, type FROM refs LEFT JOIN user_data ON serial = record_id AND user_id =...

  • Followup: RE: Export of large number of references

    Thank you for your advice, I have set the following: memory_limit = 16Mo post_max_size = 12 Mo upload_max_filesize = 3 Mo max_execution_time = 45s max_input_time = 90s to no avail. And my webhost would not allow me to set these higher so I guess I'm done... :-(.

  • Export of large number of references

Exporting (to Bibtex or ISI) works well when I choose the "Selected records" option. With "All found records" (307 records in this case) the script aborts and leads to a blank page. The same goes for the beta.refbase.net installation. Any suggestion? I believe the post_max_size and upload_max_filesize in the php.ini file are only relevant for upload limitations, not...

  • Followup: RE: Bibutils configuration

Thank you very much, this is fixed now. The first problem was with the temp directory. Basically, I had forgotten to leave the ";" at the end of the line and your message reminded me to! FYI, you could modifiy the comment line in the ini.inc.php file to read more clearly: // e.g. session_save_path(); or "/var/www/web12345/phptmp"; Then, it appeared that the Bibutils...

  • Followup: RE: Bibutils configuration

I have asked the questions that you suggested, let's wait for the answers now... Also, I have tried to change the value of '$sessionTempDir' to "/home/www/enro/sessions" (full path to the folder that contains the PHP sessions created by my site, as my ISP explained) but then I get a blank page from Refbase.. Antoine.

  • Followup: RE: Bibutils configuration

It turns out I was able to change the settings for exec() myself. I also did it for shell_exec() to be safe... But nothing changes. If it helps, here is the configuration of my web host: Linux 2.4.20-28.9 Apache 2.2.8 (Unix) MySQL 4.0.26 PHP 4.4.8 Well, let me know if you are running out of ideas and I will move on to something else! :-( Thank you again for the help, Antoine.
