the bug was fixed for the select from region option.
It should hardly ever occur for the select from window option the solution is however not
100% since there is (at least from what I know) no way to wait until a window really vanished
from the screen. This problem will be further investigated.
the build_package script has to be executed as root to have enough permissions
to create the right owner in the temporary install directory.
A remark was added in the INSTALL file to alert about this behavior.
