Before I start to rewrite all my applications to use OBS websockets, checking to see if there are any forks of snowmix that are actively maintained...

@Robert Are you willing to share what you wrote? I really liked the simple API for Snowmix, but now looking at writing to websocket API on OBS.

It appears to be a dead project at this point... Are there any forks of this project before I look at doing so?

Is this project dead? I use it for our main video production pipeline, and wondering about the future as I start replacing hardware, and wondering if we need to start looking at different software, or start looking at this source more in-depth to see if we can maintain it. Anyone interested in helping manage a fork?

You might want to look CasparCG if you want to do HTML5 graphics, that is literally what it was built for (ok, originally Flash graphics, but now they've moved to HTML5 among others)

Wonder which municipal? City of East Grand Forks, MN....A city of about 10,000 residents in the NW corner of Minnesota, USA - near where North Dakota, Minnesota, and Manitoba (Canada) meet. See your project in action in our application: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7qUYpyeq9JRst10irmuLAg https://archive.org/search.php?query=city%20of%20east%20grand%20forks if you don't like Youtube meetings are also streamed live...Local cable TV channel and 24/7 live stream is in works also.

Thank you for the response. I don't have a recurring need Chroma key, this was a 'one time' VEX Robotics event and their scoreboard application has a "green screen" feed to key on top of video. May not need it again for 6 months or so, if at all...of course other projects come up out of the blue all the time :-) In our configuration, all feeds and mixer output are 720p30 (1280x720, 30 fps), converted to that in gstreamer if necessary right now, so we don't have to change feed definitions in Snowmix...
