Would it be possible to try the beta version instead? https://sourceforge.net/projects/heat-meteo/files/Meteo/Beta/ Ed

Can you send me ~/Library/Logs/Meteorologist.log and/or ~/Library/Preferences/com.heat.Meteorologist.plist? Thanks. Ed EdwardD20@mac.com

Is there a log file in ~/Library/Logs/Meteorologist.log? Do you happen to be on a VPN or anything special like that? Can you get to https://heat-meteo.sourceforge.io/CHANGELOG2 and if you have the beta option turned on, can you get to: https://sourceforge.net/projects/heat-meteo/files/Meteo/Beta Ed

That's a great feeling when a fix actually works!

You have the Preference turned on to look for Beta versions (which can be found here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/heat-meteo/files/Meteo/Beta/). You should be able to turn that option on and off using your working copy of version 4.0.5. I will have to go back and look at version 4.0.4 but it really can't be fixed as we've moved past that version. Any chance you can send a screen shot to me at EdwardD20@mac.com?

Oops, forgot to respond to those 2 points. 1) Meteorologist 4.0 and higher requires macOS 13.x or higher. You said you're on 11.x so it won't work. 2) Open your 3.5 version of Meteorologist, go to Controls and then Preferences then click on the Options tab and unselect the option to Check for new versions on launch. @Adam, Really late to report this, but I'm on a WiFi only connection now with my iPhone and guess what, I'm seeing the problem (still present in 4.0.5). I now know how to reproduce (by depend entirely on my iPhone for WiFi). I'll try to debug it when I get back home. Ed
