What's happening?

Followup: RE: Help with LINUXSAMPLER install.

I have downgraded gcc in hopes that this was the issue, but linux sampler ./configure still returns the error: Required libgig version not found! You need to have libgig version 2.0.1 installed! If anyone can help - that would be great. Thanks.

Hello, I have an ARCH linux box with a fairly default system. I have installed libgig from source with no apparent errors. When I try to install the linuxsampler from source, the ./configure script ends with: Required libgig version not found! You need to have libgig version 2.0.1 installed! Libgig is installed in /usr/local/lib. Thanks for you help in advanced. Thanks, ebasta.
