Greetings!
With all previous versions of gaim I have used, it was
possible to log signing on and signing off to the
system log. The UI for this has now disappeared (if
there ever was any), and I am no longer able to see
when people sign in and out.
I installed gaim 2.0.0b1 over the top of the last
stable version, after taking a backup of my .gaim
folder (Win32).

stevensonln1, this is a valid user interface problem - the user
is presented with two redundant methods for doing the same
thing, in addition to the aforementioned clutter created in the
start menu.

Hi there,
Would it be possible to remove the GTK program group
and uninstall icon creation, as they add to the mess of
my start menu unnecessarily.
I think users should be directed to use the operating
system's native facilities for uninstall (ie.
Add/Remove Programs) instead.
If you are like me, and go to the trouble of keeping
your Start -> Programs free of unwanted program...

This set of patches implements two simple ways in which
the logging package could be extended to allow more
than one body of code to customize the base Logger class.
The first patch (and doc patch) implements a
"getLoggerClass()" function symmentrical to the
existing "setLoggerClass()" function.
The second patch instead renames the internal
"_loggerClass" variable to "loggerClass"...

I'm sure you're aware of this problem, and I know there
is a manual fix for it (changing the reminder date),
however I feel that this should be randomised at
installation time, or at least forceably requested from
the administrator at installation time, as too many
administrators leave it set to the first of the month.

I want to convert an existing installation of Issue Tracker 3.x running under a PostgreSQL database to version 4 running under MySQL.
