on the command line, this works and downloads my photos
# gphoto2 --camera="Kodak DC3200" --port=serial:/dev/ttyS0 --get-all-files
But in the gtkam gui, the gui com port pulldown list is disabled, as if no com ports were available.

I suggest that at minimum, the following information be included:
Min Password length
Password formation (required and allowable characters)
Password duration (how often it must be changed)
a description of good password practices might also be a good plan:
* never share a computer account and never tell your password to anyone, including people who claim to be from customer...

I am not arguing that this is a "new" policy.
I am simply asking:
1. The user documentation needs to be updated to inform users how the system works
2. A review of the security policy needs to be conducted as many security experts argue that this requirement actually leads to a less secure system, not a more secure system.

The website docs do not mention eclipse / cdt etc.
adding installation instructions / configuration info would greatly improve the chances of eclipse users using the MinGW compiler within CDT.
