  • polling.c useless unless ACPI disabled

I have an Omnibook XE3-GC, and I'd like to get all the buttons/keys working with ACPI enabled. Apparently, the method used to poll the additional keys only works when ACPI is disabled. Would it be possible for you to reintroduce the other method? You can see it in this code: http://internap.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/omke/omnibook-2002-09-05.tar.gz Thanks in advance.

Here is a driver for the 8187b chipsets: http://www.datanorth.net/%7Ecuervo/rtl8187b/ How mergeable is that so far?.

  • Update: vice

On 2006-09-02, VICE 1.20 was released. I have made a package of it, based on the 1.19 one. I removed the apparently no longer needed build dependency on imlib, but I have no idea whether it can build without it. Please test as such. Also, for some strange reason, Fink wants to pull down the Source2 from a Fink mirror instead of the supplied URL, which will obviously fail, so tell it to...

  • Update: cc65

I did not receive a response to my e-mail to the Fink maintainer for this package, so I went ahead and repackaged it myself, using the most current stable version. Tested under 10.3, and someone needs to test it under 10.4, as there have been reports that it fails to compile on 10.4 before. I fixed the .info file to make a more complete package, and eliminated cc65-c64 as a separate...

Logged In: YES user_id=877198 I have not examined the differences between the old dictionary and the new one, but AIUI, the new one is intended to supersede the old. If so, you would be in a better position than I to repackage it, which would not require actually examining its contents.

Logged In: YES user_id=877198 This may be nitpicking, but shouldn't the Group be "Added to Fink" rather than "Rejected (Already in Fink)" since it was only added after I submitted it?.

  • Followup: RE: Minimum OS requirements for MACCAM?

I tried a camera whose name had been on the list of working cameras for ages with 0.8.5 on 10.3.9, and it did not work. It turned out to merely have the same name as another camera on the list, while support was not included. Also did not work with 0.8.6, but 0.8.7 work perfectly. I have not tried 0.8.8 yet.

Oops, forgot to close this out. On the very day that 0.8.7 was uploaded to SF, I installed it. When I got the chance again, I tried it, and it worked perfectly software-wise. Only the limitations of the camera hardware remain.
