It would be nice if the tool could automatically generate a .vho file (like Xilinx does in Coregen) which includes text for the VHDL component declaration and instantiation of an EDIF file.
This could be included with the tools or a separate tool that works on any EDIF file.

Yes, someone has looked at this. This has actually be deprecated in the newest version of the BL-TMR tool. Please refer to the "Pre-Mitigation" section of the current user guide (available in the Download section of this site) for the new way of handling pre-mitigated instances.

An e-mail from Dr. Wirthlin describing the issue to be resolved:
"I had always assumed that the feedback voters will fix any errors each clock cycle. However, it is possible that it will take many clock cycles. Assume you have a ring of 100 flip flops (i.e. 100 flip flops in a circle). If the upset occurs in the flip flop after the voter, it will take 100 clock cycles before the error is fixed...
