  • Followup: RE: Thanks - Keep going!

KDE apps are annoying for us at TheOpenCD project too, because of Qt's licensing model very few Kapps can be built as GPL on win32(without license violation), so we simply don't ship any. anyway, on topic, you can get a GPL'd version of ReKall at http://www.totalrekall.co.uk/, i think it's best to steer clear of the Kompany where possible. as far as access alternatives go, i recently saw...

has anyone toyed with using tcl-GTK? tcl-gtk.sf.net i don't know how much work it would be or if it's usable even, but it sounds interesting.

  • Great Work on 0.81

love it, this is the first time i've attempted to run it on win32, previously i used it on linux and saved CCMSN for win32, but this works great now :) one thing, i see you've still got the old icon images in the package, and someone suggested in response to the one i posted a while back that it'd be used in future releases, slipped your mind i guess. cheers Phil.

  • Followup: RE: Open Watcom and Seal System?

erm, why buy openwatcom when you've got GCC and you can download it freely? i don't think anyone's ever tested SEAL sources with watcom, but i don't see much point personally.

  • Followup: RE: Mozilla for SealSystem/FreeDOS?

erm, yes, we are all aware of opensource browsers, if you'd like to port Gecko to SEAL2 don't let anyone stop you, but i don't think any of us are capable of it. btw, did you never get the post asking you to use http://sealsystem.sf.net/phpBB2/ instead? we don't check these forums as a rule.

  • Followup: RE: Anti-Aliased TTF in AMSN?

as far as nicer fonts go i'd sugest Vera Bitstream, anti-aliased aMSN would require AA tcl/tk, and that's not something i've come accross, maybe a port to GTK2 using http://tcl-gtk.sourceforge.net/ would be a good way of doing it, i'd certainly love a GTK2 version.

  • aMSN Program Icon

hi, great app, i've been using CCMSN for ages, followed by aMSN and your new 0.80 is superb, one thing though, none of the icons included really look any good on my desktop, so i put one together, http://gug.sunsite.dk/pictures/1056667926.png the XCF is available from my gallery http://gug.sunsite.dk/gallery.php?artist=123.
