The error mentioned is due to the difference between Maven Doxia's (in the context of a Maven project) and Pixware's (in apt editor) parsers which treat image declaration tokens differently. APT Editor does not currently support Doxia's syntax but may do in the future. The item is closed but is considered a vote for feature request: [ 1748505 ] Maven Mode - View Pane (add support for Maven).

Hi! Thanks for the bug report.
Did it stop working after an upgrade or is it the first time you install the plugin? I've been using it with Eclipse 3.2.0 and 3.3.0 without a glitch, so I'm extremely surprised that it doesn't work with the versions you mention.

The bug is closed because the problem is caused by Eclipse's SWT Browser component and not APT Editor.

Hi,
Thanks for the feature request.
This feature is already planned, however I don't know when it's going to be available. Maven's Doxia uses a different library to convert apt files so I have to interface with Maven's libraries. It may take some time but stay tuned. You may subscribe to this item to be notified when it's available.
