Hi Chris,
I get a similar failure only if I deliberately put an incompatible version of cygwin1.dll into the 'lplex-0.3\bin' folder. It may be that there's another stray copy of cygwin1.dll in 'c:\windows\system32' or somewhere else in your system path which mpeg2enc is loading instead of the one in 'bin' (many other programs use this dll and install it all over the place).

The problem is the space in your lplex program folder path ("C:\Program Files\...") This error shouldn't be happening...

The main dependencies are flac, wxwidgets and libdvdread, and there are two patches, one for libdvdread and another for mplex, which aren't mandatory but will enhance functionality...

Apparently the problem is specific to the mac dvd player. After some troubleshooting, Stephen reports:

Hi Kim,
This last one is a known bug in the alpha, due to not handling filepaths with spaces properly. If you drop your output folder (noiseforest_dvd or whatever) onto mkisofs.bat in the lplex-0.3\util folder you'll get the iso.
