same here on fedora 10 i386 and fedora 11 x86_64, although in my case the terminal output stops at "HTML data parsing plug-in loaded". Tried to run under freshly created test user (I keep all the dictionaries in userspace) -- same results. It's been going for about 6 months, probably going to switch to goldendict (http://goldendict.berlios.de).

downloading the .zip (not the installer) of the latest version magically fixed everything. You can close the ticket. Thank you for the nice piece of software.

if by that you mean a new user account in the system then the answer is "no". The datacrow has been ran under the same user it was installed. And yes it was not istalled system-wide but into local user directory. Otherwise -- please clarify.

when I choose a category other than books, there is an "Import" button on the toolbar, which allows me to select location and import all the files/directories from it. When I highlight the "Books" category that button disappears. How do I import books?.

the book record contains a field for a filename, but there is no way to import a whole directory of the ebook files like it can be dome with movies or pictures. Or maybe I'm missing something?.

there is an opinion that this is happening since gkrellm 2.3.3. The images from local source are displayed properly, but remote images are not updated, or the preview does not match full-size image. There's been a few reports of this problem on various forums, as well as in gkrellm2 mailing list http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.gnome.apps.gkrellm/1448.

krellkam is not working properly with gkrellm 2.3.1 and later
I've seen some posts about this on several other distros. Since the update to 2.3.1 and later, the Gkrellkam plugin no longer properly displays the captured cam images. Sometimes these are downloaded correctly as a click on the image still displays the correct image in the separate viewer. Often (usually) they don't display in the...
