I'm afraid I have not used the Jabber Collaboration for a long time.
I did use it a few years ago and I remember that it was fairly useful. I am sorry that I cannot be more helpful regarding this tool.

I think your idea is excellent. Collaboration on FreeMind mindmaps is definitely a feature that I would want to use.
At the moment, I have not been able to get a GoogleWave account, but from what I have read I am looking forward to getting my invitation.
There used to be a plugin for FreeMind that allowed collaboration over the Jabber IM system...

In version 2.09 I would like to be able to do this. Is it possible?
In our situation, we would like to select and entry and export it is such a way as to send via e-mail to another user who could then import it. It would be great if the single entry (or multiple entries) were exported and encrypted so that only the recipient would be able to import it.
Any ideas anyone?.

I think you are absolutely right about the FreeMind Flash Browser never having supported rich text.
For the simpler Mind Maps that I would like to display using the Flash Browser, it is just a process of opening and saving in version 0.8.0

I just saved a map using version 0.8.0 and compared it to the version saved with 0.9.0 RC5
These are the differences:
In the 0.8.0 version, the image in the node is saved like this:

I have upgraded to FreeMind 0.9.0 RC5 and nodes containing images are still showing "undefined".
