The Distributor is designed to hide all the workings of the system from the Client for security purposes. However, I am thinking of adding a web-based interface for monitoring and administering tasks. This could show a variety of information about the connected nodes (such as IP address, CPU speed, ...)
This is not likely to appear for a while as there are still a few important features...

A new version of the NetBlend software, written from the ground up, is on its way. It should be released sometime in July.
This new version works around having a Distributor that once set up will automatically accept projects, send out files to the slave nodes and control the rendering.
