Bonjour,
Any chances we can see the encryption option in the stable release soon.
I had it working for more than a year without problems .. and forgot how I got it working in the first place :-(
I can not javac the cvs on my office windows machine .. I am a novice in that field.
Also got a brand new Macbook pro and new Cent OS box for home .. I need jreepad badly, with encryption...

KeyNote was nice indeed, but it is dead and can not be compare to Jreepad. Jreepad is unique, since it is the only one written in java, at the most you can compare it to "http://www.bellz.org/treeline/" a python project. Their common key feature (for me) is to be cross platform (excluding palmos) and free.
If you liked KeyNote, I suggest you take a look at treepad$ or mynotekeeper$,

worked like a charm .. thanks
I had over 1000 "dt= " and replaced all of them with "dt=text"
We use treepad business edition, but I did save in version 2 and the file worked fine with the available Treepad Lite.
I am trying to move to osx and all my life is in Treepad .. I am starting to like jreepad, seems pretty reliable.. I like that.
many thanks
alain.

Hi,
I get this error when trying to import/open TreepadLite files ..
"java.io.IOException: Unrecognised node dt format at line 2: dt="
tried both on Windows XP with most recent Java
and OS X 10.4 with recent java
thanks,
alain.
