A lot has happened in the past 3 months in the way of design, new ideas and more detailed information has come to light.
A total revamp on what we have posted so far has been put forward, as well as some structurally new ideas surrounding the simulator.

I am starting work today - going through a lot of my old graphics stuff, and looking at what can be used, and what can't be, as well as making up some new graphics for the game. I am planing a slew of graphical templates, suitable for various cultures, anyone familiar with morrowind will know how the MMO game is going to be formed, and will hopefully be an extension to the ideas and principles...

It simply costs money to finance a good server, the core and central servers are going to need lightining fast conections, and these are not free, so while this software (including vritually all the server side software) will remain open source and free, I am planning on allowing server admins to charge players for the use of their server - of course it is not obvious what will happen if you ask...

I have no problem using some of the higher grade open source 3D engines, but do intend this game to have far reaching graphic capabilities.

Each server will be a domain unto it self monitored by server admins, who will have the ability to introduce custom content and mod various aspects of the game - allowing for a certain amount of culture shock between each server.
