Closing as fixed. Windows 10 Defender no longer flags the installer as malware with latest definitions.

Microsoft said it removed detection of malware from the installer: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/submission/083ee529-cc3f-4728-b748-4761a8d865e8 Please try updating latest malware definitions for the Defender and checking again.

Sorry just saw your previous comments, so it is the latest version of the installer. I've sent it to Microsoft for analysis.

I never suggested that you don't see the issue, only that I cannot reproduce it. I am quite sure that there is nothing wrong with the installer currently hosted on SourceForge. I'll submit a "false positive" report to Microsoft, perhaps that can help.

I am quite sure that there is nothing wrong with the installer currently hosted on SourceForge here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/windjview/files/latest/download. Just to double check, is this the file that got flagged by Defender? Its md5 sum is 51568b064123215b296a100b7d0685fb. If yes, then I'll submit a "false positive" report to Microsoft, perhaps that can help.

I am running Win10's Defender too and it reports no issues. Which installer did you use?
