Yes, we agree that CottageMed remains one of the pre-eminent introductory EMR's for beginning practices with its low overhead and rapid ease of use. It is not competitive, nor are most EMR's, on the insurance billing and reimbursement side of things where an Athena Clinicals approach of large teams and large-scale contextual programming produce much better returns with a tolerably easy interface design. We can guide others through some of the simpler processes for using and adapting CottageMed to their needs.
