On my (Windows 10, 64-bit) system I have tried often and nothing is copoied into in the second database unless I expand the window enough to show blank space at the bottom and click in itbefore pressing Ctrl-Shift-V. If the particuaor folder is too large to do that, I have to paste the entry to another folder, and then drag it into the one I want it in. I have tested this numerous times with the same result. If it works on your system and not mine, I can't explainthat, but it is the fact.
The copy and paste method works, but only if you are able to display blank space at the bottom of the target database, and click in that area before pasting. If your entire window is full of entries, it will not let you paste. This seems to be a flaw.
Using Keepass 2.35 under Windows 10. Just recently, every time I open one of my databases, only a single entry is shown, as if I had just searched for it. However, (a) I haven't searched for it, (b) the focus is in the search box and it is blank, and (c) nothing even appears in the pull-down history of the search box. If I click on the database folder, all entries reappear. I have made sure the search box is really empty, and have edited the database and saved it more than once, and this continues...
