I would like that workflow/option to be available, to find things where I left them and the scrolling doing the same thing as clicking on tabs.

Some progress. I've deleted the old configurations from $HOME/.config/chessx/chessx.ini and remade my layout and it almost all worked. The only thing that misbehaves is the box under the chess board with the "Enter comments and annotations here" and "End of game" bellow it. I keep hiding it but it keeps getting back. Otherwise it's all good. So it was a problem with old configurations. Edit: I spoke too soon, the problem came back. Sorry to bother you so much.

I don't know if it ever displayed the theme correctly in QT5 or not. I've tried with environment variables: QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=qt5ct and QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=gtk2 without success. While other qt applications like vlc or knights displayed the theme correctly. I've also tried with kvantum, it's the same. It's no biggie though.
