Couldn't be easier. You simply place .png files in the user icon directory in the freeplane directory on your computer C:/users/"user_name"/appdata/roaming/freeplane/ on my older windows computer. Once there, you'll see them in the available list of icons on the next reboot. You can also use on-line tools to convert and size files to fit your needs. I use larger versions of cutomized icons like pictures in my maps. Q!

If you have a "searchable" component (attribute, text string, value, etc), you can build a simple script that will find the nodes to be compared. I have a little script that does that and then makes a copy of the matching nodes and stores them in a new disposable branch of the map with links back to the originals. Once you're finished with the selected nodes, that branch can be deleted without destroying the original nodes. Now my application predates the creation of clone nodes in Freeplane and...

No, no. So sorry. It's working fine! What happened is that I attempted to export a branch that was barred from export (Attribute 'Type' with a value of 'Private.') There was nothing to export, thus the blank filename. My bad. Q!

Alexandre Not exactly sure what the use case is supposed to be in such cases, but I notice that when I export just a branch of a map, the output name is blank, as in ".html." In otherwords the filename is empty. When I export the entire map (from the Root Node) the output file name is "NAMEOFMAP.html" Q!
