Hi If you want this for all (new) maps, go to Tools->Open user directory, and edit .../templates/standard.mm. This is supposed to work for $HOME/Templates too? Since I'm using the Flatpak distribution of Freeplane I should not touch inside the bundle. Thanks.

Hi: How are the files used? Each file should be installed in a path expected to be found by Freedesktop compliant applications: desktop files at /usr/share/applications/ appstream metadata (metainfo.xml) at /usr/share/metainfo * also icons are expected to be at /usr/share/icons/ so you don't need to specify the full path inside the desktop files. Can you exclude them from non-Linux distributions please? Err... I think it is what I did putting them at release/linux-specific/ Did I miss something?...
