Maybe if you play around with the fields of type: - AttributeLinkedSetIndirect - AttributeLinkedSet I was looking at the "core definitions" of iTOP and the FunctionalCI and PhysicalDevice classes use those when referencing things like Contacts, Netwrok Devices, etc. Not sure if simply instantiating those types of fields will actually create a tab as I couldn't find any reference to them in the Presentation section of said classes. It's likely that these "structural" behaviors are defined deeper within...
Keep in mind that you have to make these changes to the User Request Class to get what you want. Make sure when you create the Module you fill out the dependencies correctly. After that, it should be a simple matter of adding the values with a very small amount of code is you won't have to touch the presentation part.
Greetings! I need to have a class that represents an UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) that is effectively a "power source" but that isn't limited in terms of relationships to a particular location. We currently have 6 of these in the building each one handling the infrastructure 3 or more floors (including Network devices like switches and network printers). Right now I have used Locations to map out all of the floors and maintenance rooms (where the UPS and switches are located), placing the devices...
Hello, I haven't worked with iTOP in almost 10 years so I'm very rusty with a lot of the stuff. I am trying to install a new instance on an RHEL7 machine and installed all the necessary PHP packages and dependencies from the RHEL Collections repositories (rh-php72 etc,) and got both PHP and Apache up and running. I also copied the iTOP files to the /var/www/html/itop folder as recommended in the tutorial but when I got the URL I only get a list of the files in the directory and the wizard won't run....
Doing any kind of query to find the date of the previous WO might end up being costly as you'd have to run the search every single time for something as simple as recording it for another field. Perhaps you could come up with a way of passing the end-date of the previous WO as a parameter to whatever call you're making to create the next? I never used the Word Orders much so I'm just thinking of it in terms of the programming logic that would be the most efficient way.
A lot of the access to objects mechanisms work around organizations so a complete...
PMd you Alex!
Just off the top of my head I'm thinking you might be able to come up with a Database...
