Hello, let me state this more correctly. The version for FreeBSD ist not actively developed. Last time I heard from someone working on the FreeBSD-Bits of X-CD-Roast was 15 years ago. So, I do not have any experience how this will work. For debugging please see the the FAQ (http://www.xcdroast.org/release/faq.html#24). Also please don't use this Sourceforce-Bugtracker for debugging purposes, please email me directly the debug output.
Hello, FreeBSD is not a supported platform. Please do not use the SourceForge-Bugtracking System for this. I also replied already 2 times to you directly, please check your Email. Regards On 14. Compilation problem Xcdroast 1.19
Hello Didier, I never tried to compile X-CD-Roast on FreeBSD - so I never noticed that the function “strverscmp” is not available on that platform. An easy fix is to replace the text “strverscmp” by “strcmp” on line 1088 in io.c. Also please note that you need at least cdrtools 3.02a09. Version 3.01 is not supported at all. Unable to install with `make DESTDIR=... install`
Fixed with a patch available on www.xcdroast.org

Ok, my fault. I did not think on using DESTDIR. I am appending a patch for the src/Makefile.am file, which should fix the issue. Afterwards to you have to run "aclocal" and "automake" to regenerate the Makefiles. I would also recommend to build a package with: ./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc Thanks for the hint!
