    I see two possibilities: either another MiKTeX program has not been closed (MiKTeX Package Manager, installer, MiKTeX Update, &c.) Or the working directory of WinEdt is not the demo file directory. You can check this right-clicking anywhere in the editing window demo.tex and selecting Get Folder. If it happens it's not the correct directory, you can set it right-clicking again and selecting Set Folder. Hope this helps. Best regards, Bernard
