Gdk errors: window unexpectedly destroyed

If the GTK interface of version 0.0.7E2 is closed (eg.,
via #quit) while the command assist window is open,
then Gdk emits the following warnings:

Gdk-WARNING **: gdk_property_delete: General case not
implemented
Gdk-WARNING **: window 0x######## unexpectedly destroyed
