Hi.

This is a Sample TEST.MP3 from Real MSX1 machine.
If you push any key with autorepeated on openMSX, the
sound is different from Real machine.
(Especially the sound of push key to Space is more
different from real one.)

Please chech this test.mp3 and can you fix this
problem?

    Here is TEST.GIF

But you must rename TEST.GIF --> TEST.MP3 to hear the sound.

Caution : This is Not picture file!

In my opinion, NLMSX (Windows) supports this click sound
    perfectly.
If this problem can't be solved well, it is a way to ask to Frits
    of NLMSX's author.

IIRC, Daniel Vik of blueMSX suggested to use not a square
signal, but gaussian like envelope to play this sound. This
is most likely also more like the real MSX, since the
electronics 'round off' the signal anyway.

This seems to be fixed now with Wouter's oversampling +
    filtering technique.
