Reaper + eyes of overworld

I recently played a game with the cvs version of slashem and ran into this interesting thing:
I played a monk , did the quest, got the eyes of the overworld, got a +1 Reaper thru sacrificing and this was literally killing. it's possible to use Reaper like all poleaxes 'around a corner'. that's fine... but then I noticed something very strange. I entered sam's black market and while in the corridor, I was able to see his sidekicks(xray vision). so I 'a'pplied Reaper and attacked the sidekick which is near the top of the screen, bang! 30 damage, again! bang! kill.
oh, I did mention that I was standing in the corridor didn't I ? I killed them all... I still hear the screaming....
REAPER IS ABLE TO KILL THROUGH SOLID STONE WALLS !
Sorry, I haven't got a savefile for bugtracking since my monk died YASD...
