Bad menu position on small display

Problem is on small display on ipaq in 1.0.7:

When is pressed Start button on taskbar, menu L1 is
showed on the left edge of screen.
When submenu level 2 (L2) is selected, then is displayed
on the right edge of L1.
Now is between rigth edge of L2 and right edge of
screen only small space.
When I now choose new submenu level 3 (L3), then is
displayed on the left edge of L2, to be visible.
But if L3 menu has width greater then L1, is L3
displayed on right edge of L2 on invisible area.
