It would be nice to have a tranlate feature for
text/plain,text/html from a charset in the mail headers to
the charset choosen at login time.
For example, there's such a common problem with
ru-koi8-r and ru-windows-1251 charsets.

For Russian users: the quickly patched version to understand
translation from win/iso/mac to koi8 is available at:
    http://rk.inetcomm.net/soft/nocc-0.9.3-rk.tar.gz

Does v.0.9.3pl1 works fine for you ? I didn't see your
    russian patch before releasing 0.9.3pl1.
I'd like to make sure your patch isn't necessary anymore.
About the mail header charset, we'd like to make it a
preference as people having a russian interface might not
necessary want to send russian mails only, but english or
french or whatever e-mails with iso-8859-1 mail headers.

Pity, but this is not what I need.
I need the mails to be correctly shown in my selected charset
even If they are originally in different charset, but of the same
language. The only function in PHP I found is
    convert_cyr_string.
And about the mail header charset: the select-box will do the
job fine, when composing message :)

By the way, is there an analogue of iconv
    (http://www.dante.net/staff/konstantin/FreeBSD/iconv/) for
    PHP?
