Thanks a million! I got my ip address working now.
Strangely, my Java VM should have all of its default settings- I never changed its filepath or anything at all.
It would be great if this issue could be resolved.
Thanks,
ejang.

I got my Mac Book Pro this weekend, so I can try it now....
But the problem you have is not an issue of yadra. But I try to help you, as far as possible: How do you want to set up you yadra-network, only inhous, from one Computer to another? If yes: obtain the IP-Address by just typing ifconfig in your terminal of MacOSX, it should print out the current local IP of your computer, something...

Hi there,
are there any recent updates on installing yadra for Mac OS X?
It would greatly help if you could post a video tutorial of the setup on youtube or something.
Also, how do I obtain my IP address?
Do I just use my house internet address or MAC address? I don't know anything about internet service providers :(
sorry,
ejang.

be careful, you are trying to use the Windows/Dos-Batch File... this does not work on Mac, you have to use the linux shell-scripts (ending with .sh) !
You can use your own JVM, but you have to specify the path in the shell script, pointing to its location.

Thanks!
Since Mac OS X comes with a pre-installed JVM, do I need to configure the path to that location? If so, where is it installed by default? This is my error message when I run the config.bat on terminal:
Jangs-MacBook-3:~ Eric$ /Applications/yadra/config.bat ; exit;
/Applications/yadra/config.bat: line 1: @echo: command not found
/Applications/yadra/config.bat: line 2: rem: command...

Hi,
in a few days, I will receive a Mac to test it... But as I know, it should be the same like on linux. Just open up a Terminal and follow the instructions on my website for linux:
http://www.olphro.de/wordpress/projekte/yadra
Good luck.

Hello Blender wiki and yadra community,
I am currently running Mac OS X and my render times are unbearable. Unfortunately, there aren't any instructions (that I can find) specifying how to set up yadra on my mac. Is there a setup file I should run? Sorry for being a newbie at this :(
Thankks,
Eric.
