Some strange logic in the layout changing event handler was replaced by a simple trigger of the main/alternative layouts.
Previous logic didn't wok correctly for switching layouts backwards (e.g. if Ctrl+Shift keys combination is assigned, the right Ctrl+Shift keys change the layouts in ascending order, and the left ones change the layouts in descending order which didn't work).

I use CapsLock as group switch key (USB keyboard):

XLookupString gives 0 bytes:

When used with tiling window managers (awesome, for example, also reported on dwm), xxkb remembers keyboard layouts only for windows on the same workspace. Switching on other workspace doesn't switch layouts.

xxkb-1.11: Options "XXkb.xpm.path" and "XXkb.mainwindow.xpm.N" do not change anything in program's beaviour, though they are described in the man. No error messages, the options are just quietly ignored.
So the bug is not fixed.

xxkb uses functions from libXext but does not explicitely link with it. This may or may not work, depending on other linked libraries. Solution: Just add -lXext to the used libraries.

Xxkb do not compile now on openSuSE (tested on version 10.2). Fix: add -lXaw to LOCAL_LIBRARIES section in Imakefile.
