Xingtu, 星圖, "star map" in Chinese, shows stars with their traditional Chinese names. It can be used in Google Sky to make new discoveries from ancient history. Models based on BSC5 and other star maps are also released.

  • Great works on displaying Chinese star chart in google Earth. although I downloaded stellarium_chinese20080104.kmz first can couldn't see much info on GE. the trick is to download the main file - xingtu....kmz file in the file folder, then you can see more info regarding the star name and corresponding region it belongs to.
