  • I tried to open a ticket but I am not allowed to do so. There are some bugs and issues with v1.07. When you create batch patches, the vcdiff files are numbered 1, 2, 3 etc, but the batch file refers to them as 0, 1, 2 etc.! So, it does not work and entails a lot of editing. Secondly when creating batch files the .bat file uses 'absolute' addressing which is NOT useful! It should use the current directory and use relative addressing thereafter. As MY system arrangement of partitions will certainly not match someone elses e.g. C:\Users\MyName\Desktop is not the same as C:\User\UserofthePatchName\Desktop etc. Thirdly, WHY do you delete the old files by default?! That should definitely be an 'option' not compulsory.
  • Thanks, handy for making the batch file without worrying about typos etc. Though some feedback/suggestions.. It would be nice if this had an option to cater for the old and new files having the same name, basically so patching is replacing the old file with the new patched file. With the way the batch file currently goes it can't since the old file is still in use when creating the new file. Though if the patched file was saved with a different name, then the old file deleted/renamed (perhaps add ".old" to its name) then rename the new patched file to the original name, it should all work fine. Could add a checkbox for enabling this and even check the box automatically if the user selects old and new files with the same name. Perhaps even let the user specify the name they would like for the new patched file, including the possibility of keeping the name the same. This seems to be focusing on video files as by default it only shows .mkv files, perhaps since this doesn't depend on file types maybe show all types by default and let the user select to show only video, audio etc and then filter out all but the appropriate file types. Personally I would prefer separate browse buttons for selecting old and new files and by default begin the browsing in either the last used location (if it still exists) else from the current location of the GUI.exe . The drag and drop feature is great, maybe advertise its availability more for new users. Perhaps when the textboxes are empty have greyed out text saying "Drag and drop old file here" etc
  • Thanks for good program!
