I thought I was the only one having the same issue, I spent a day trying to work out what I did wrong. Even set debug attribute to true to see if there is any useful message. Yes, use of ANT task is not generating any JUnit Tests.

The idea was to create tools which make it easier to cover your code with unit tests. So tools actually take your source code and generate skeletons of unit test classes and then you have to fill them with real test code.

Did you create Web Test Tools using Test Driven Development?
Definition from wikipedia.org: "Test-Driven Development (TDD) is a software development technique that involves repeatedly first writing a test case and then implementing only the code necessary to pass the test"
