Question on configuration.
I downloaded the NaiUpdater howerver I don't see the instructions on how to get to get McAfee setup...
Do I need to make a folder called files in the NaiUpdater? How do the updates get to McAfee?.

Hi, 1st of all i want to thank's to all of guy's for the awesome piece of work. I've just download & used the XPE 1.0.7 plugin with BartPE, it works & look the way i wanted. But i want to modify some of files in the package (oeminfo.ini, oemlogo.bmp) and maybe some other file(s) just for translating the default language you use to other language (if that possible?), if i do that, is it...

for #2, I see where it is commented out in custom.inf and shouldn't have a CMD shortcut. However, in xpe-defaults.inf there is this section:
; Desktop
0x0,"Sherpya\XPEinit\Desktop"
0x2,"Sherpya\XPEinit\Desktop","@shell32.dll,-22022","%comspec%"
maybe that's how CMD gets to the Desktop...

I had a programmer look at the hex of the tftp read request packet in question, and he said that the hex is a number sequence 6a [38+k] eb for k=0,1,2.. He thinks it is some kind of synchronization. Is that any clue to the puzzle?.

The client says file (unreadable) is corrupt or missing, status 21

After determining what is locking the drive, I can use unlocker to kill the process and then ghost the image. I wanted to find out why this behavior occurs, but I am not sure that it can be remedied. It appears the XPE Explorer can detect a process on the drive that should not be running or detectable. Others have googled the same error as above without...

I did some more research on this using file unlocker during an xpe offline boot session and it appears what is locking the C Drive is the "System Volume Information" folder. I stopped the lock with unlocker and could then ghost the hard drive. Later, I deleted the files inside the system volume folder and that seemed to work also. I need to do some more research with shadow copy etc, but will...
