  • Downlad and calibration in Ubuntu 9.4

Hello, I have 2 problems: first I can't download the code using the cvs command, when the prompt asks for the password and I hit enter the code wasn't downloaded, but then I downloaded it manually second: when I run the program I got the connection between the wimote and the software but when the software asks me for the calibration something like "put your IR on the left corner" I did it but...

Sure it detects brightness. 4 bits worth, ie. 16 brightness levels. Extended Mode In Extended Mode, the IR Camera returns the same data as it does in Basic Mode, plus a rough size value for each object. The data is returned as 12 bytes, three bytes per object. Size has a range of 0-15. Since the "size" is referring to blobs of IR light which we know for this application would be coming from...

This wouldn't work. AFAIK, the wiimote does not detect brightness, only points, and where they are. The only way I see this working is for the pen to have some kind of wireless capability with the computer sending pressure values back to the computer. This would be a lot harder to program (as it is completely separate) and expensive. But we can always hope :) Kory.

This would only work with hard surfaces, but what about if you hacked a pressure sensor behind the IR-LED that adjusted it's brightness? The harder you press the brighter the light gets? I know this would probably also have issues with the angle of the pen, etc... any thoughts?.

  • Followup: RE: Whiteboard / Bluesoleil Ubuntu

I'll assume you speak Spanish. See below. After I connect my bluetooth dongle in Ubuntu, the bluetooth symbol appears instantly in the upper panel. If this isn't happening, check in System-> Preferences-> Bluetooth or download the bluetooth manager from synaptic. Si conectas el bluetooth, se supone que aparezca el simbolo en el panel de arriba. Si no lo ves, revisa que tengas los...
