I like the name: Palimpsest http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palimpsest Although your new project is not a palimpsest in the original meaning of the word, it has become to mean (more or less) something that is hidden under the surface. The word was not regularly known except to scholars, but is somewhat famous for being used as the key to the 2nd part of the Kryptos sculpture at CIA...

Reflector rox I didn't want to believe but it's even worse in some way then I belived... It does mention in the docs that DateTime is used as a fallback (which I disregarded) meaning there is no wraparound just the plain old problem with updating times... Very funny. I stated that DarkNET is written for the future can I assume that all target machines will have a hi-performance timer? I can...

About timings... .NET is somewhat poorly documented in many cases my newest favorite it is the simple dilemma that you just can't measure in any sure and safe and simple way the elapse of time since the date and time can be changed by the user (timing based on that is a sure recipe for a catastrophe) and the TickCount of the system is prone to wraparound in 25 or 49 days depending on what you...

If you meant me, then my homework was accepted but I'm far from being satisfied with it... I'm currently mucking with timings / timeouts and sessions want a common framework for them, also want to make some fundamental changes in the Network-Core boundary. And the Core is still just a concept pretty much. The UI code is still shit (not really the issue) but it might be good for testing...
