I tried the vssplugin with Eclipse 3.5.1 64-bit on Windows 7.
It seams, that the plugin uses the vssapi.dll, which is 32 bit.
Afaik the plugin is working with Eclipse 3.5.1 on Windows XP and Windows 7.

I've just installed this into Ganymede (3.4) yesterday and it seems to be working OK. The 1.6.2 version of the plugin that is... If I run into any serious issues, I'll be back to post a followup.

Looks to me like there hasn't been any development work on this project since 2007 (last CVS commit). Very sad. was looking forward to having VSS in 3.5 Galileo.

Can somebody provide some info on the "Integrate with internal move/delete file system commands" preference? I couldn't find anything regarding this and I need to know exactly what it's doing.

ok. I discovered that all plugins in myeclipse7.5 (and possible eclipse ganymede) seem to have a META-INF directory in which they explicitly state certain things like Bundle-ClassPath and Export-Package.
Bundle-ClassPath looks easy (just the jarfile name of the bundle).
But the others look more complicated.
Does anybody have a valid META-INF directory for the vssplugin?.

I am not able to get it to work on myeclipse 7.0 either. So, I am stuck with MyEclipse 6.6 until this is resolved.
Has anybody been able to get the plugin to work with MyEclipse 7.0?.

When I try to checkout the plugin sourcecode using the CVS command described I get an error :
