Vinuxscripts is a wonderful tool to enable Ubuntu users to get an optimized system which supports the ORCA screen readers. These scripts also install speech-dispatcher and related files to make the command line outside of X Windows speak for the blind or visually impaired command line interface (CLI) user. Many Ubuntu applications only partially support ORCA but in the selection of software made by Vinuxscripts, their development team which includes visually impaired (VI) and blind users have picked those applications that will speak to you using a screen reader. A highly configurable screen magnifier is also available for 2D and 3D desktops. Vinuxscripts can also install keyboard shortcuts to make difficult tasks for the blind easier and keyboard controlled. Highly recommended for those who are visually impaired or for for general use for those who want high quality software and support.
