Hello all. I am declaring VideoThen Mature. This means i will leave it on sourceforge.net, but will be making no more updates. It has been overcome by events. Firstly, MyStuffNow (a commercial product) has been released and does the same thing as VideoThen, only better. Secondly, Tiger has released a color VideoNow device (personally, I'd just buy a personal DVD player. its cheaper).

I tried your link and made my first functional disk douglas685 Thanks.
I did have some problems :(
The disk needs the 'toothpick trick' because the unit wont tolerate starting on one of my burnt discs and I have to delete the bin that the vn proggie creates when I finish the project then edit the .cue file to get rid of that last mystery bin.

YES! sucess! I gave up videothen for a better program, VNconvert. Its awesome! Works great, you make up to 30 min of playback, even on 24 min Mini/Pocket CD-R's, Boots by itself with no swaping, is super easy, And doesn't need Java. YAY! A few down sides though. When your converting the .BMP's and .WAV's put out by VirtualDub to convert, You CANNOT touch your computer. If you minimize the...

Hey i think the problem is that there is a misconfiguration in java. If some had enough time, they could probably dig through and fix the problem.

maybe the problem is the java or divx. Im thinking java, maybe downgrading will help, Ill try it and see if it fixes the problem. By the way, i am running a 2.6 ghz P4, 256 DDR ram, Xtreme video graphics card (which shouldnt really matter except for the preview) and XP home SP1.
