On MacOS 10.5 there is no problem but on 10.4,
when starting a song it crashes with the message:

USB Singstar Adapter work with iMac Leopard. Set: Build In Mic = Off; Singstar Adapter Channel 1 and Channel 2
Do the Settings in US-->Tools-->Options-->Records
Not in the OS Preferences.

I am unable to use an external mic with a MacBook Pro (Intel) with Leopard. Using the Mac Os preferences I can disable the internal mic and enable the external one; but UltraStar is always using the internal one and there is no option to change it (at least I do not know how to do it). I have tried with the config.ini file and with the applicaton, but ... ... no way. Help please.

also... instead of playing it on the right device it plays the sound through the default soundcard, not the usb device.

I tried using a Logitech USB Headset on my macbook, since it does not have a mic input. I can select the device in the settings menu but not the input it should use. (there's nothing to choose from, not even a default value).

Hi,
I know beta 1 isnt for OS X 10.5 but you might want to know that echo isnt working.
Going to setup, activating echo, exit setup, start playing, player 1, easy, selecting song and suddenly ultrastar is just gone.
Here the output from the console:
