Similar problem, more default screen-resolution:
I am using a 16:10 Widescreen monitor with a resolution of 1920x1200.Yet HOT only allows me to use...
... either 1920x1050 - with not only black borders but also clipped view at top and bottom :-(
... or 1680x1050 as the next available 16:10-setup - which scrambles all other running windows :-(

Results
Fresh install of hexen 2 patch to 1.11 then
1.4.4-pre7
Res switching now works
Sound problem: No sound to start with but i switched music in options from cd to midi and this for some reason made sound effects work
Tested wifi local death match tcp/ip with firewall's disabled worked fine in windows 7.

Thanks greatly for the reply i thought i had the latest 1.4.4 but i am using 1.4.3 it appears so will download and try the 1.4.4
i'm using 32bit windows 7, will post back later on results.

Hello Macrofeet: Thanks for the feedback.
Which version of Hammer of Thyrion are you using? The crash problem when changing resolution from within the menu, I beleive that I fixed it in 1.4.4-pre versions for Windows Vista. If you are using 1.4.3, please upgrade and see if it still crashes for you.
As for the sound issue, I never ran into that on windows (xp, vista, etc) but not tried...

bugs in windows 7(dell vostro 1000 laptop)
Game runs with the following problems
1/ sound does not work tried- snoforceformat and- wavonly in command line
2/ could not switch screen res in options crashed had to -width 800
-height 600 spp 32 in command line then it worked fine
i'd really like to use this as the graphics seem much better then newhexen2 but need sound.

Qtracker answer me that Hexen II servers not founded and i may add my server manually. But when i try to scan HexenWorld servers - qtracker scan it but not show anything. And i think HexenWorld master server exist througt qtracker. But where it adress of master?
I think it will be a good idea to add support of hexenworld servers.
