I saw a duplicated docstring while looking through the source; I updated to reflect the function's behavior. This is against the current git trunk.
I saw that patches were solicited on your blog; it wasn't clear whether to submit them to SF or directly to you. In any case I wasn't able to find an email addy for you, so here it is.
I was also unable to get the 0.3.2-1 deb package to work...
