Version 7.0.0-RC1 Release - 27/05/2023
"The biggest transformation ever of the Scoring Wi-Fi PRO"
..................................................................................

With the new true multi-language support, Wi-Fi Scoring 7.0 breaks language barriers for non-English-speaking users. The new, multilanguage version of the scoring system makes the tournaments much easier to manage and organize for any non-English speaking users.
The first release candidate is providing out of the box 11 languages translation you can choose from.
We are open to help with other languages if there is any interest for this. We can create and provide an automatic pre-translation version and we need native speakers just to review the translation in any language of interest using our translations web portal that makes everything simple.
Please note that in order to accommodate the translations we had to review and redesign part of the screens. Also, for text we are using a more flexible text formatting and styling now.
---------------------------------------
| MULTILANGUAGE |
---------------------------------------
|The First multilanguage version includes the translations in the following languages:
|	French, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Turkish.
|These translations are broken down in three categories:
|- Tier one translations include languages that are fully reviewed by at least one native speaker:
| • English, German, Romanian, Spanish
|- Tier two translations include partially reviewed translations by native speakers. Part of the product is still using automatic translation or non-native speaker translation:
| • Portuguese, Chinese Traditional, Italian, French
|- Tier tree translations are just automatic translations combined with non-native speakers. They have not been reviewed by native speakers.
You can still use this but currently we do not have full confidence that the translations are always correct or meaningful. The tear tree includes:
| • Simplified Chinese, Korean and Turkish.
|---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Other functional changes and improvements in version 7:
1. The Delete All Divisions function is reimplemented to erase only the division of the current tournament. Previously this operation did remove all divisions across all tournaments.
2. View/Edit Tournaments List is preselecting and pre-loading the current active tournament information by default when opening the list of tournaments.
3. The list for Declare Winners for the Team competitions is populated with the same list of reasons used for the singles tournaments.
Please note the list of reasons, same as most of our application options is fully customizable and stored in the embedded database and fully editable by the users.
4. Import/Export operations:
a. It allows the user to enter a custom file name for Division/Players/Clubs export operations.
b. Import/Export club (organization)
5. New Delete functions:
a. Delete Single Club.
b. Delete all clubs/organizations.
c. Delete Single Division
d. Delete Single Player. Please note there are two options. The option to delete the games of the player too is still experimental. It potentially leaves the database in an unstable status. Please use this option very carefully.
6. Refresh the clubs/organizations list.
7. Accommodate Gap points calculation for competitions with a reduced format using only 2 rounds.
8. Redesign the graphic notification/alert used for the first referee submitting a point but before the point is fully validated and notified by other referees.
9. Redesigning the referee mobile synchronization screen to make it more intuitive. The new improved version is adding a graphic presentation for the numbers of enabled referees and for the minimum number of referees required to validate a score.
10. Redesign the winner notification at the end of the match to support the multilanguage. In the new solution, there is no ‘W’ letter display for the winner.
11. Redesign and reimplementation of the referee UI configuration screen. In the new version the button action configuration and the awarded number of points are separated. The number of points awarded for each action are configured in a new screen.
12. Simply the list of points used by Admin for manually score adjustments removing any unnecessary details - like trigger type (click, swipe, etc)
There are a few bugs fixed in this release:
1. Fixing an anomaly for Disabled Gap points. The function was not always working as expected for the Gap points when using the ‘Total Points’ system (The WT model before 2021) and for Team Competitions
2. Changing the player export – In some circumstances all players disappeared from the Players table after Excel export.
3. The empty list of reasons for the Team competitions. We added the full list of reasons.
4. Removing a club is correctly deleting the player/club association now. The solution was addressing the inconsistency issues regarding the delete club operation for a club already linked to the players.

03 Apr 2023 - Scoring PRO Version 6.0.0

Version 6.0.1-6.0.2 Patch releases. No new functions or performance improvements.
Solving the issues with the corrupted upload file from 6.0.0

02 Apr 2023 - Scoring PRO Version 6.0.0
Version 6.0.0 is a major release introducing new features as ‘Team Competition profile’, ‘Round-Robin’ draw model, a new completely redesigned solution that allows you to Save the division draw as a PDF document and also is adding a referee points submission counter and a new animation for referee point submission. It also includes non-critical bug fixes as well as performance improvements. We urge everyone to upgrade to this version to get full benefit of the server capabilities.
For a full list of changes please review the release notes below.

Version 6.0.0 Changes:
	New Features
..................................................................................
1. Add Round-Robin division Bracket draw Scheduler. Now you can choose between a Single-Elimination format and the Round-Robin format for each division.
The round-robin has two options for user presentations. It supports List view and Grid (Table) view.
We limited the Round-Robin division size to 15 players that produces a 105 games bracket.
2. Full redesign and re-implementation of the division draw “Save As” and “Save as Preview” for single elimination and for the new round robin format.
The new “Save As” solution is PDF base.
	• The division draw is saved as a multi-page PDF well scaled document.
	• It can be easily printed and displayed or sent to the players via email.
	• Consistent view across all platforms and operating systems.
	• Single-Elimination creates 8 games (4 rounds) per page by default.
	• Round-robin will print the full grid in one single page.
3. Add the number of available players and the total players to the tournament draw editor.
4. Introducing a counter next to each referee name at the top of the scoreboard to count the number of points (Clicks) submitted by each referee.
5. Add a new animation. You can see on the screen when a judge pressed one action and it’s waiting for the other referees to press. The first animation on the screen disappears when the second referee validates the score too and the score goes up.
If one judge touches the punch button, it shows the name of the judge that pressed and a small punch image; the image disappears if the other judge doesn't mark the same point, or it increases the size if the other judges are touching the same button.
Please note this notification will be visible only for two or more referees. It will not be visible for a single referee.
6. Team Competition profile. Please note we do not have a Team division draw editor yet.
In the World Cup Team Championships, the duration of the contest shall be three rounds as follow:
	• four (4) minutes of 1st round,
	• five (5) minutes of 2nd and 3rd round
	• with a one (1) minute rest period between rounds.
	• The 1st round shall be conducted based on the traditional team match format.
	• for one (1) minute per contest and the 2nd and the 3rd round shall be conducted for five (5) minutes based on tag-team match format.
The default game Maximum penalty points (Gam-Jeom) are 25.
7. Extending the number of penalty points supported.
8. Add customization for the length of each round. Previously you were limited to the same length for all rounds.
This was required for Team Competition.

Bug fixes
	..................................................................................
1. Fix the Enable/Disable Referee function in the referee panel.
2. Remove the disabled referees from the top of the screen. Only the enabled referees are showing now at the top of the main screen.
3. Block the K.O. counter to not be used before the game is started
4. Fixing the bye players function in the Single-Elimination draw format. The multiple bye players were not always automatically progressing to the next round as a bye player.
5. Golden Point - the number of minimum points to score to win a Golden Point round was using the wrong number in some cases.
6. Do not allow the Server Ports Setup window to close without saving the options during the initial setup.

Feb 22nd, 2022. - Initial relase of TKD Scoring Wi-Fi PRO

From today, the Taekwondo World will be able to enjoy the new generation of Taekwondo Scoring Wi-Fi PRO.
The new product has required three years of R&D. Our new PRO version of our most popular low-cost Wireless Electronic Scoring Software has not just had a simple upgrade to the existing version, but now has a completely new redesigned solution. This new solid solution utilises new technologies for backend processing and the user interface, making use of the new Points Processor ‘Rules-Pro’ which has been fully redesigned by Scoring Wi-Fi development team to improve the speed and accuracy of the score processing, resulting in time processing reduction. It involves using a dynamic rules management engine during the points processing in order to allow the users to choose/change/configure or modify the events submitted by referees’ mobiles and the points allocated for each event.

The PRO version now also supports dynamic referee UI controller configuration. In the old product, the controller was supporting only either 2 or 4 buttons already preconfigured by our software. The referee mobile UI was static, the users had no option to modify the predefined referee screen.
In our new solution, the number, the behaviour, the look and feel of the referee mobile buttons are fully configurable from the server side, making the new version usable for other sports as well; it also makes the product reconfigurable if the rules of the Taekwondo competition change overtime. The new server solution increases the user's experience and usability through the new Material Design implementation of the user interface that also solves the scalability issues for computers with high resolution screens. It uses a newer and much faster redesigned scoring engine (Rules-Pro) which processed & displays the points even faster than on the previous already popular system.

The new Tournament Planner is replacing the old competition management module used by TKD Scoring Wi-Fi. Included Tournament Planner is using SQL and is built in top of an embedded Relational database management system (RDBMS). The product is coming with an embedded database ready to use out of the box. The user can configure the server to use an external SQL database and can configure multiple servers to share the same database if they run more than one court for a tournament.
Using the relational database, Scoring Wi-Fi is organizing data into tables which are linked—or related—based on data type. Using the SQL database, the Planner provides the ability to the users to generate meaningful report in no-time and to extract and/or import meaningful data directly into the tables.
Taking advantage of the embedded SQL database, the new PRO server is recording, along the score, every single score event received from the referees.
