Thanks for the feedback :) Don't hesitate to contact us if something goes wrong with TILP, or you have some suggestions. My previous post is completely b0rked, though it looked fine in the preview displayed in my browser. This one may be b0rked too. Bah.

  • Followup: RE: compiling tilp. what about qt?

Thanks, debrouxi That was a huge help. I passed "-without-kde" on ./configure. There were no other dependencies so, I did a make install. Tilp seems to run fine. I connected to my ti89 titanium, received a directory listing and made a backup. I really needed this. I have a laptop that dual boots Ubuntu x64 and Vista 64. I had no desire to set aside disk space for Virtualbox...

  • Followup: RE: compiling tilp. what about qt?

TILP uses Qt only if KDE support is enabled (it shows up only in file dialogs).
- if you want to compile with KDE support, then install the KDE 3.x development package, which is almost certainly called "kdelibs4-dev" on Ubuntu 9.04 (that's its name for Debian Lenny). This will pull a slew of dependencies, among which the appropriate Qt development packages.
- if...

  • compiling tilp. what about qt?

I am trying to compile TILP 1.13 and its dependencies. While running ./configure on TILP, I got this message: checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.0.2) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation! I'm using Ubuntu 9.04, which uses GTK+. According to the package manager, qtcore4 is installed and I tried installing qtcore4-dev but I still get the QT...

  • libticables build fails on NetBSD, part 2

Bug 1829964 was closed some months ago without being resolved. Actually it is fixed (see patch attached to that bug report), but the fix has not been committed. Why?.

  • Comment: [win32] problem with 1.13 - missing .dll

Ok, this is very awkward... I just uninstall and install TiLP again (don't use force install, it won't work) and it just works. Sorry for making you lose time with this.
