+999 for that one :)
Especially when you have dual monitors, are working on the secondary, want to switch to some application.. and you can't see the list since it's being displayed on the primary monitor...
It appears to be logical that the list is displayed, if not under the mouse, but at least on the same monitor as where the mouse is... :)

I mention that the key combination assigned in the configuration window, Hotkeys tab, TaskSwitchxP control rubric has poor utility and DOES NOT answer this request, because it simply calls the application list, but doesn't cycle through tasks. The same is to be tell about the 'click Sys' facility available on the Advanced tab.
However, the feature is present, in a limited form, in a concurrent...

The "show desktop" feature is probably used by many users. Personally, I store my data on the desktop for easy access. The thing is, you can't Alt-tab back to the desktop.
For instance, you have your desktop up, then Alt-tab to MS Excel. No way to alt-tab back. Actually this is pretty inconsistent with the alt-tabbing philosophy. I understand that this probably hard to implement...

Twould be nice to be able to choose the "style" of view that we wanted:
i.e. the default
or "all in a row" like MS has currently [like vista], etc. etc.
I'd be happy to come up with a patch for it if it would be accepted.
Thanks!

+1 for wishing for this one [that the switcher came up under the current mouse wherever that is, or the mouse was zapped to it, preferably the first].

Hi,
At my company, we are using Citrix Metaframe (Citrix Neighborhood Agent V10) to access applications on a server.
When a Citrix window is active and I hit 'Alt-Tab', then the TaskSwitchXP window appears shortly and immediately disappears afterwards. The only way to get out of the Citrix window is to hit 'Alt-Tab' quickly (i.e., immediately releasing the keys) to change to the first...

Would be nice having customizable shortcut keys for the items in the task list. I prefer DELETE button (instead of X) to close the application and SHIFT+DEL to terminate it (instead of T). Handy for sorting out the clutter. Why does "X" close the TaskSwitchXP as well? TaskSwitchXP should close only if the closing application poped-up a confirmation dialog box (to save the changes, etc.)

When I have Itunes and other windows open, and press alt-tab, and mouse over the Itunes window (or just tab to it), the preview shows up, but Itunes large cover flow view shows up and doesn't leave the screen.
