  • Followup: RE: Postgre Installation

Sergei, I just tried installing Postgres 8.2 and then installing TagCentric using Postgres, and it worked. Here are a few questions to consider: (1) Are you attempting to connect to a remote Postgres database that does not accept remote connections? (2) Did you first create a database in postgres (called "rfid" for example), then specify that database name in the "Database...

  • Postgre Installation

When I select a postgresql db during the installation procedure, it does not install nothing, no tables, no schemas, although the connection information in the options.xml file is correct. For example, I normally set the reader address to 192.168.1.xyz whenever I am using...

Martin, As far as MySQL goes, you will need to download the MySQL jodbc driver. Please see the instructions in the howto document in the docs directory. There are instructions in that file how to get tagCentric working with TagCentric. Let me know if you need more help. -Kyle.

  • Followup: RE: DBAgent launch with Mysql

Hi once again :-) what is TagCentric doing with 226.16.10...? i saw it is hardcoded in some classes? this leads me to the next question: is tagcentric useable on other hosts at all or only on a host which has access to 226... thanks a lot, regards, martin.
